The Lightning Bolt!

Hello all! I know it's been awhile since my last post, but I have something new [:
So the other day I was bored and just messing around with my makeup and got this brilliant idea. Okay, lol, it actually wasn't that brilliant. I put on some eyeliner, red lipstick, and drew a lightning bolt on my face, and it looked pretty spiffy.

First, you line your bottom lids in black eyeliner. I used Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Noir. Then, you would just draw a small, or large if you prefer, lightning bolt extending from the outer corner of your eye. It's harder to do than one would think, but it looks nice I think.

Then, you find a red lipstick that's not too dark but not too light. The lipstick I used doesn't have a brand name on it, but the color was Regency Red. I recommend using a lipliner to get a more defined look, but it isn't necessary.

Here's the final product on me. It looks better in person, the lighting in my room is terrible.

I think this would be a good party look, and you can add a smoky eye for a sexier look.

I apologize for the delay! I wasn't able to get on a computer to post.
Thank you for reading! [: and please stay tuned.

Bluegreen Eye

Hello all! Welcome back [: I hope you enjoyed the smokey eye, but if you're not a black person [NOT race-wise], then this next style is for you.

I call it the bluegreen eye simply because it is exactly that.

The first step, once again, would be to start with a fresh, clean face.

You will need black eyeliner, bright blue eyeshadow, and bright green eyeshadow.

First you will make a dark, not too thick line with the black eyeliner on the bottom lashline.
I use Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Noir.
The liner ties the look together because it connects the green and blue shadows around the eyes.

Now you will put the green eyeshadow on your entire eyelid.
I use Max Factor Wet/Dry Eyeshadow Trio in Metalicious. It contains both the blue and the green eyeshadows I used.
Make sure it is bright, because this style is for the neon lovers everywhere.
Again, I HIGHLY recommend using a primer because it makes the colors brighter and last longer, but as I do not have one yet, I cannot give any insight to which brand works better.

After the green shadow, you will put the blue eyeshadow on the outer part of the lid, mixing the blue and green in the middle. Again, the shadow should be bright.

The final step is to take your eyeliner brush if you have one, or just the eyeshadow brush that comes with the eyeshadow, and line the inner rims with the green and the outer rims with the blue.

I didn't do this when I put the makeup on, but if you wet the eyeshadow when you apply it, the color will be MUCH more dramatic.

Here is the final product as shown on me. Notice how it makes my brown eyes POP!

Thank you for reading and I hope you like the look! Comment me if you try it out [:

Welcome! [:

Hello world, I'm Krissy [:
I love doing my eye makeup and often receive compliments on it, so I decided to show my methods to the world. My makeup is simple but i often mix colors to make it my own.

I'll start with a smoky eye.

First, you want to make sure your skin is clean and makeup free.

I highly suggest using a primer. I do not have one yet so I can't give an opinion on which brand works better, but primer makes the color bolder and last longer, so it is highly recommended.

The first step is to line your bottom lashes with gold eyeliner. I use Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner in Precious Gold.
I recommend putting on a lot so that it is clearly visible because the gold is the only color. The gold will highly stand out against the black eyeshadow.

Then you will put on black eyeshadow. I use Maybelline New York eyeshadow in Night Sky.
Put the eyeshadow on your entire eyelid, putting on a lot so it is dark. Once you have done that, use either an eyeliner brush or the thin side of an eyeshadow applicator to line the bottom lashes. Line the outside of the eye only to the middle, then blend the gold and black some.
You could use eyeliner too, but I find the line to be too harsh instead of smudgy.

That's pretty much it. [: Once you have done this you have achieved my version of the smoky eye. Thanks for reading! There will be more to come in the future [:
