Welcome! [:

Hello world, I'm Krissy [:
I love doing my eye makeup and often receive compliments on it, so I decided to show my methods to the world. My makeup is simple but i often mix colors to make it my own.

I'll start with a smoky eye.

First, you want to make sure your skin is clean and makeup free.

I highly suggest using a primer. I do not have one yet so I can't give an opinion on which brand works better, but primer makes the color bolder and last longer, so it is highly recommended.

The first step is to line your bottom lashes with gold eyeliner. I use Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner in Precious Gold.
I recommend putting on a lot so that it is clearly visible because the gold is the only color. The gold will highly stand out against the black eyeshadow.

Then you will put on black eyeshadow. I use Maybelline New York eyeshadow in Night Sky.
Put the eyeshadow on your entire eyelid, putting on a lot so it is dark. Once you have done that, use either an eyeliner brush or the thin side of an eyeshadow applicator to line the bottom lashes. Line the outside of the eye only to the middle, then blend the gold and black some.
You could use eyeliner too, but I find the line to be too harsh instead of smudgy.

That's pretty much it. [: Once you have done this you have achieved my version of the smoky eye. Thanks for reading! There will be more to come in the future [:
